Product:
Jitterbug, a phone developed for older adults that want a simple, easy to used cell phone.

Transcript of Analysis:

Darth: I love the jitterbug. If that thing were rotary I would buy one in a second. It is so (.) (.)
CTKROD: I seriously did recommend it to them (my parents). It's what they want.
Darth: And I completely understand the market for the product. The ear cushion is a bit over the top. I would buy one for myself if it were rotary. I honestly would. I hope they don't try to market it on the web -- it should be sold via the electronic section located behind the cashiers at Osco and Walgreens.

CTKROD: rofl, rofl. Perfect - next to the 4-pack of TDK cassettes.
Darth: and tozai alarm clocks. They do have a web site and I am in the process of writing Marketing@Jitterbug.com to scold them on their poor distribution choice as well as beg for a rotary version and even a version with a cord.
CTKROD: I know about the site - I was there earlier today. I like both of your suggestions. I'm going to check out their "careers" page.
Darth: I am also going to tell them to get rid of the voicemail. Instead they need someone to write out the messages on little pink pieces of paper that say "while you were out" and mail them to the user.

CTKROD: Beautiful.
Darth: Did you see if they have a party line option?
CTKROD: No! Is it like "press 2 for canasta"?
Darth: I think party lines were like when homes shared phone lines -- so you and your neighbor had one number -- you could listen to their calls.
CTKROD: That is so jitterbug.
Darth: I really want to walk into a business meeting and watch other people lay their Blackberries on the table. I will then trump them by putting my Jitterbug down.
CTKROD: I would watch all the losers around me texting and then I'd throw down my OneTouch and hit "operator".
Darth: I should really create my phone service and phone. I think it delivers exactly what the old ass wants. I might be able to cut a deal with the Rascal and have them build a bracket onto the handlebars.
CTKROD: Other promotional tie-in opportunities include Efferdent, Boost, and Werther's Originals.
