Have I got a scoop for you all today. I am sure you have read about Burger King's Enormous Omelet Sandwich. The two-egg-sausage-cheese-and-bacon combo packs a gut-wrenching 47 grams of fat -- five more than the chain's signature burger, the Whopper.
The company calls it: "A traditional American breakfast stuffed between two buns." I say "yeah, that's how Kirstie Alley referred to her stank muffin before assaulting me that night in Reno." Anyway, I just heard that Wendy's is going to be getting back in the breakfast business with their Hot and Saggy.
While a BK Omelet Sandwich has a toasted sesame-seed bun, 2 slices of melted American cheese, 3 strips of crispy bacon, a sausage patty and two egg omlettes, Wendy's new Hot and Saggy blows it away.
during development, the Hot and Saggy was called the "Swine on a Bun." It comes with 2 sausage patties, 2 sausage links, 2 pieces of Canadian bacon, five pieces of bacon, 2 potato cakes, mayonnaise and 4 eggs. Interested in supersizing it? You can. For another $.39 you can add on another 6" of pig and dairy goodness.
Wendy's isn't talking fat or calories at this point, but a spokesperson did say "Let's put it this way, only pussies will be caught dead eating a 47 fat gram sandwich. They might as well eat a salad. The Hot and Saggy is a monster breakfast for a monster man."
I couldn't have said it better myself.
