So the big news this week is that Deep Throat came out of the closet after 30 years of secrecy. When asked about Deep Throat, our President -- the person elected by 60 something percent of our population said he has to do some reading, that he didn't know enough about the situation. Good to see he has his finger on the button.
As you might guess, I have a different take on the matter. As usual, I skipped the book and went straight to the video. The Deep Throat I saw played by Linda Lovelace looked nothing like this Mark Felts guy. Kudos to casting for upgrading the part.
Other Rambling thoughts...
In another sign that our society is gingerly resting on the tender precipice of disaster, last night ABC aired something called Dancing with the Stars. Wow, what a pile of crap. To fully understand what a pile of unadulterated fecal matter ABC one hour of prime time TV with, let's look at "the stars."
"Star" Celebrity Highlight
Trista Sutter -- Trollop from the bachelor -- passed around like a party favor at a gay pride parade.
Rachel Hunter Super Model in the early 80's -- then married Sperm Belly and saw her career implode in front of her eyes. I think my good friend Dean Caprini hit in on the head with "at this point I wouldn't hit her with your dick -- double bagged."
Kelly Monaco I believe she is from a Soap Opera -- after this show she will be lucky to get a job as a high priced escort for the blind.
Joey McIntyre Danced into your heart as a member of NKOTB, Danced out of your heart as a cast member on this piece of bile ABC calls entertainment
Evander Holyfield Boxing Champion, had his ear bit off by Mike Tyson -- now known as boxer who had any remaining dignity clipped by ABC
John O'Hurley Mr. Petterman from Seinfeld -- yep he wasn't even a cast member of Seinfeld. Has anyone ever made more of so little? After Seinfeld, John has taken on roles like "host of The Great American Celebrity Spelling Bee" -- where he helped America learn that while George Wendt can't spell knockwurst, he certainly can eat it. John also was the host of something called "2 Shocking 4 TV" -- I guess the shocking thing was that someone paid him to do that show.
Oh, there's plenty of other good stuff to complain about -- hard ass judges that give dancers a score of 3 out of 10. The audience than boo's their disaproval (I really think they are booing the fact that ABC locks the doors once the show begins). Than there is poor Tom Bergeron, wow, his career is a post in and of itself. I think I will tackle Tom at another date.
