Today's Myspace Profile of the Day

Meet Hoyt! According to his Myspace profile, "I am prior USAF, having served 6 years and stationed at Moody AFB, GA and Spangdahlem AB, Germany. I was an AMMO trooper, which meant spending hours sitting out in a bobtail truck, picking up and delivering practice bombs... and playing D&D by flashlight during lengthy exercises *winks*." His son Patrick is the euphonium/baritone section leader for the championship marching Band of Gold. Isn't that ( . ) ( . )? :) -- how I love emoticons.

According to his interests:"My experience with the Dungeons & Dragons game system started in early 1983 with the old blue boxed set. A high school friend had received it for Christmas ('82) after we witnessed some friends chatting about it in the library. So my bud and I started our gaming history with another friend and a cousin of mine using a home-spun generic setting . I have many, many AD&D stories to tell. Someday I'll start a book sharing stories from that time in my life. ;)"

Don't get him started on the fireborn "Legends say that fireborn are sparks struck off the anvil of creation which had life and spirit, and after time, mind. Those who research magic think that they are relatives of some kind to will 'o the wisps... snore..."

"January 2006 marks my return to painting miniatures for the D&D game. I haven't done any serious work in more than 6 years. It's a demanding, tedious, frustrating, but relaxing and rewarding hobby. Below are some recent sites I've discovered as I search for tutorials to help me in my journey. Enjoy. "

You know Hoyt has a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison and a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against orcs and goblinoids as well as a lot of empty Swiss Cake roll wrappers in his backpack.

Dude, nobody likes a hater. And just because you don't know the difference between a shambling mound and a gelatinous cube doesn't mean you need to share your ignorance with the world.
