Let me tell you what your dog is trying to tell you. All it takes is a picture of your dog and a brief description of your family. I will then use the experience I have amassed as one of the nation's leaders in canine social behavioral studies to provide you with the keys to improve your relationship with your dog.

My wife won't let me name our new dog...
So we adopted a dog this weekend. We actually can't pick her up until next Saturday. Unfortunately, we can't agree on what to name her. That's where you come in. Take a look at the choices in the Poll and pick what you think is best. Thanks!
PS. I don't want to bias things at all, but there is something magical about going to the vet and telling them that my dog Louis Gossett Jr. has an appointment.

First of all, that is the cutest dog I have ever seen. Next to mine, that is.
At first, I was strongly against the Lou Gossett Jr, because she is a girl.
But Louise? And you call her "Weezie?"
You have my vote.
Thanks! Please enter it in the poll -- I need as many votes as possible in order to get her named Weezie!
I have news for you, buddy -- I don't care if you get the entire U.S. Congress, in a rare show of bipartisan unity, to vote for Weezy -- if your wife doesn't like it, you're not getting it. Sorry.
She's on the fence. Our daughter loves the name. My mother hates it and her mothr likes it. I see this as a draw. Especially since I am driving the 6 hours to pick it up from the shelter.
