So the wife and I broke the bank this weekend and picked up Guitar Hero 3 for Wii, a Floyd Rose tremolo for my axe, and the Beaches game pack. I've got to tell you that after about 2 straight days of play I got a 98% on Wind Beneath My Wings, but I am still struggling with The Friendship Theme. It's kicking my ass.
I actually think I have tendonitis in my forearm from trying to get that solo down. I am going to take the next few days off and take a cortisone shot or two. I have also downloaded the song onto my iPod so I can better visualize my pick work on the song. By Thursday I will have that bitch mastered. By Sunday this album will be my lady.
