You are looking live at "interchangable cutlery." Yes, they give you a stick that acts as a base. You then insert the appropriate end (fork, spoon, knife) into the stick -- and tada... you have a complete piece of cutlery! How did we live without this for so long? The spork was so cumbersome. I now feel liberated.

Actually, it looks like they just snap onto a bic pen, so you can eat at your desk without proper cutlery. That's convenient!
But it wouldn't be very practical in a rumble.
