Barack Obama Meets His People

Obama Ba-rocked the red suit and bowler for his victory party in Chicago.

I must say that I had my faith in the American people reaffirmed last night. It was good to see people overlook age and color bias to vote for a person that offered fear over hope. I will say that I thought the suit he chose and the beginning of his speech were a little out of character.

From the Tampa Sentinel Post-Gazette, "Obama boldly bound to the front of the stage, arms open and motioning to 'raise the roof.' The blazing red suit and matching bowler hat made him seem to be living in a technicolor dream as he approached the microphone and stated 'it's good to be here, it's good to be your President-elect, now where 'da white women at?'" Newt Gingrich rolled over in his grave. He is still alive? My bad.
