So I took off Friday to have a few things checked-out with my doctors -- eyes, back, knees, wrist that is still in a splint... From what I learned, the car accident is going to have significant implications on my life for years to come.
It seems as if I am falling apart. I have gained a ton of weight. The bone bruises on my knees aren't healing an I can barely get upstairs -- the Dr. said "ranch style homes are your future." I have new glasses that look like I should be able to see through walls when wearing them. I can't pick up my daughter and I can barely button my own clothes, thanks to the fact that I have lost most use of my right thumb. One of my doctors jokingly said I should look into moving into an assisted living apartment. Is 39 to early to do so? If not, I may do it. I hear that you don't have to cook your own food and that the women there are easy.

Maybe you'll just get a really hot at-home nurse.
I have no doubt the wife will approve.
