Word on the street is that CBS is so certain that Locusts will be a smash hit that they have already ordered a sequel. Locust 2: Spring Break Panty Party will incorporate the best parts of Locusts and Spring Break Shark Attack.
In the sequel the locusts will be on the prowl for beer, fast cars, and faster women. These locusts look to multiply with human women and create an elite race of half locust half human. Another tweak is that these locusts can speak -- and will use their powers to charm women right out of their tiny bikinis and into their locust love dens.
Lucy Lawless is back as the scientist who has to save the world. In part 2, Lawless learns of the plan and develops a method to sterilize the locusts. Unfortunately, the serum must be applied directly to the male locust, creating some awkward moments.
Parents are advised to use caution when allowing children to watch Locusts 2, as some scenes depict Human/Insect adult themes.
