Poor Mississippi

A creature that looked a bit like the offspring of Lance Bass and Stretch Armstrong appeared at the podium to announce that he was donating Jason Alexander to the State of Missiissippi. The five remaining citizens packed up their mobile homes and immediately left the state.

If you didn't feel bad for the survivors of Hurricane Katrina that live in Mississippi after the tragedy occured, maybe you will feel their pain when you learn that a "gala event" entitled Mississippi Rising took place the other day to raise funds for families impacted by the storm. The event included the following "stars:"
Whoopi Goldberg, Jason Alexander, Marilu Henner, Kathie Lee Gifford, Kathy Ireland, Lance Bass, Delta Burke, Gerald McRaney, Jean Smart, Debbie Allen, Doris Roberts, Mary Haskell, Gary Morris, Marilyn McCoo, Billy Davis Jr. and Steve Azar."

Steve Awho? Folks you are going to need to dig deeper and dig more often. A hysterical skit or duet between Gerald McRaney and wife Delta is sure to raise at least the hair on the back of your neck, if nothing else. Only God knows what Jason Alexander and Kathie Lee Gifford were doing there.

I am still waiting to hear if they actually raised any money.
