Another Reason Why The NCAA Blows

Broadcaster Bob Rathbun and TV analyst Billy Packer shown here with a man who mistook Packer for Michigan Senator Carl Levin.

So, Craig Littlepage, Chairman of the NCAA Basketball Selection Committee is irritated by the questioning he received from Billy Packer and Jim Nantz. Littlepage is quoted as saying “He may have an opinion about that or the two of them may have an opinion about that, and they are certainly free to have those opinions and express those opinions. "But to look at this in terms of the partnership, you would hope there would be a little better understanding of what it is that we do and an accurate reflection of the facts as they know them to be. Facts, instead of opinions, would be helpful."

Now I dislike Nantz and Packer as much as the next guy, but here’s a a reminder for Craig, if indeed that is your real name. I only say that as most boys named Craig never make it to adulthood with that name. Craig, your fraud of an organization got paid $6 billion by CBS to air your little basketball game thingee on TV. For that I believe you should be prepared to turn and cough for Billy…and not complain if he has cold hands. God knows what $6 billion entitles Clark Kellog to do to you. So Craig, the next time you bristle at the idea of answering how in the hell you determined that Air Force is one of the best basketball teams in the country, remember what the weird looking Gumbel brother is entitled to do to you in his hotel room for the next few weeks.
