My more loyal readers know that this economy has been tough on the Roker household and that I had to take on a second job to make ends meet. The first month or two of my new job was great and then I made the mistake of my life. I met a client that wanted to keep our relationship quiet from her husband and I allowed her to pay for my services via Camel Cash.
At the time I made the decision I didn't see the problem. Come on, a buck is a buck, right? Not so fast, my friend. I took $50 large to my bank and they refused to deposit it in my account! That's how I found out that Camel Cash is not "legal tender." Talk about Bullshit! You would think that a fine company like Camel Cigarettes would tell you something like that upfront, but I guess not.
I now have like $435,000 in Camel Cash and I can't find a way to spend it. I can't buy groceries at the Ingles with Camel Cash -- I can't keep the lights on with Camel Cash, and lord knows that Camel Cash doesn't keep diapers on the baby.
So ladies, until I find a good currency exchange, I am not going to be able to accept Camel Cash as a form of payment. Sorry, no exceptions!
