It seems that the trade deadline will see two washed-up left handed batting outfielders land in Chicago. While the White Sox are busy duct taping The Great Ken Griffey, Jr. together, the Cubs are in talks with Bake McBride. The 59 year-old McBride last played 25 years ago, but according to scouts -- he can probably cover as much ground as Griffey and will do so for a fraction of the price. It is also expected that McBride will lower the Cubs payroll due to the fact that he will receive free small coffees from McDonald's.
